Woundtech was founded in 1999. The founders of Woundtech witnessed three problems in wound care. First, the amount of time it took to treat a wound because of the hurdles in the chain of command. Second, the inappropriate care being provided to these patients by medical professionals with no proper training in advanced wound care management. Thirdly, with a lack of education and proper training in wound care, it was discovered that the cost to treat these patients was astronomical.
Determined to find a solution and provide appropriate care in an efficient and cost-effective way that improved outcomes for patients and providers, they set out with a small team of colleagues with the
same vision to utilize advanced technology and wound best practices and began treating patients. Woundtech is an industry leader in not only advanced wound care but advances in technology and innovation as it pertains to wound care.
Fast forward 20 years, we are now a global family of nearly four hundred, spanning across the United States and India. These individuals have diverse backgrounds, talents, and perspectives, but the same goal – to provide effective wound care that improves the quality of life one patient at a time. Through our efforts, we have been able to become industry leaders in providing a mobile wound care solution to a growing need of patients as a specialized niche market in health care. We nurture a culture where inclusiveness is a natural reflex, not an initiative, and is integrated into our relationships with our patients and referral groups. We recognize the disparities within the health care system and make it a priority to provide our unique service to underserved communities.
As we have continued to grow as a company and a family, we have developed a list of values that encompass who we are, what we stand for, and how we behave. These values - integrity, excellence, teamwork, respect, accountability, passion, and transparency – have sparked ideas and drove innovation that has contributed to our continued success.
We are one team scattered across the US and India. Our experienced leaders bring a diverse background to help us serve our patients and clients. Every member of our team brings a passion for delivering a better, more efficient way to treat wounds by improving access, quality, and time to care.
