Aaron Pottmeyer VP Business Dev Hospitals landscape

Woundtech, a nationwide provider of advanced wound care services, announced that Aaron Pottmeyer has joined its executive team as the Vice President of Hospital & Facility Expansion. Aaron brings a wide breadth of experience to the newly developed role, having spent the majority of his 20+ year career in business development. He has vast experience acquiring new territories and building long-term partnerships in the Healthcare industry.

Aaron will lead business development activities that expand Woundtech’s footprint in hospitals and other place-of-care facilities. He will focus on generating new contracts in several promising markets. Woundtech’s Senior Vice President of Business Development, Bob Maluso, said that these developing markets are key to the company’s projected growth and that Pottmeyer’s experience would be fundamental in prospecting leads in these new territories.

“We are very happy to have Aaron join our team. I look forward to working with him during this time of strategic growth,” said Maluso. “Our projected national expansion includes eight new states in the coming year. Aaron’s experience in developing and managing territories within the health care industry will be beneficial to that forecasted progress.”

Pottmeyer says his interest in Woundtech was piqued because of their clinician-led approach to delivering care. Because Woundtech provides care where the patient resides, it eliminates many of the challenges of wound care. It also ensures true health equity.

“Woundtech provides such an important service to patients suffering from often debilitating wounds. They provide timely care, excellent healing rates, and cost efficiencies,” he said. “I am passionate about improving the delivery of healthcare, and have enjoyed working with hospitals, in particular, therefore I am excited that this role will allow me to introduce our proven service to hospitals and health systems throughout the country.”

In addition to having worked in business development leadership for health care companies including Ob Hospitalist Group, Philips Healthcare, and Healogics, Aaron has consistently invested in his professional development, having completed several training courses from the American College of Healthcare Executives, The Brooks Group, and Miller-Heiman. He is a graduate of the University of Oregon and holds a B.A. in Sociology.
